Patna, Aug 17 (UNI) Amid politically surcharged atmosphere following controversy over an arrest warrant issued against the newly inducted Law Minister in Bihar government, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar pleaded total ignorant about any issue against the minister in his cabinet. After attending an official programme on Wednesday, Nitish Kumar declined to make any comment on the issue saying that he had no information about any of the incident. It may be recalled that karthikeya Singh, instead of appearing before the court on August 16 in connection with an abduction case filed against him, was taking oath as a minister in Bihar Government. Meanwhile, former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar and BJP Rajyasabha MP Sushil Kumar Modi demanding the dismissal of Kartikey from the government said here on Wednesday that Karthik Kumar alias Kartikey Singh along with a heavyweight former MLA Anant Singh is accused of the abduction of a builder from Bihta area in the state capital. He said that a case bearing number 859/2014 had been lodged at Bihta police station and the court had arrested warrant of arrest against Kartikey Singh who had to physically appear before the court on August 16. Instead of appearing before the courts, Kartikey Singh was taking oath as a Minister in Bihar Government on the day, he quipped.
